We are now into the voting year...Debates continue and the Primaries (Caucus's?) are moving ahead....When you go to the polls, you have many choices, whether it is for your representatives or it is for a new bill or it is for a new proposition or ......When you are in the little booth with your card and felt pen, how do you make these decisions?
Are you making choices based solely how the decision will impact your life? Or when you are scratching your chin trying to decide, are you thinking about how the choice will impact family, friends, community, nation...yada, yada...? This is the ME versus WE we talk about on this page and in the store.
We might see where Voting on ME can have impact, say in the last three years with Donald Trump being in office. Make America Great Again, may more subliminally be Make MY Life Better. If thinking WE, I might say that the slogan that would have made more sense was Make the World Sane Again or Make the World Kind Again or Make the World One Again...
What is the impact of Voting WE versus ME? Could result in a mindset of working with each other and not against...Could lead to policies that lead to the betterment of the whole and not the few...
If we Vote WE, you are thinking of how your decision will benefit the Whole. If we all did this, how much different might the World be today...If we do it now, maybe the World will be a bit better come January 2021...
